Pest Control Courses

The standards for Jim’s Pest Control Franchisees are high but if you do not have a Pest Control License we will provide you with the required training in order to get it.

We have state of the art facilities at the Jim’s Group Headquarters in Melbourne and potential Franchisees who do not possess a Pest ControlLicence undergo an intensive 7 day course. Once Licensed, the successful Franchisee is then mentored by an experienced Pest Control Franchisee until a high level of competency is achieved.

Jim’s Pest Control provides General Pest Control Services including Timber Pests to many different types of customers. We will train you in order to get your General Pest Control License so you can start earning money almost straight away!

The units required for your Pest Management Licensing*

PRMPM05B: Modify environment to manage pests
PRMPM06B: Apply pesticide to manage pests
PRMPM18B: Maintain an equipment and chemical storage area

You are then issued a Statement of Attainment which you then use to get your Pest License which is issued by your State Authority. After a couple of months you are then encouraged to study for your Timber Pest Management Statement of Attainment.

Training with Jim’s Pest Control is ongoing and all Franchisees are expected to work towards their Certificate IV in Pest Control PRM40204

21 Core Units must be completed – 5 already completed*

PRMPM43A: Prepare/present pest management submission/quote

PRMCMN302A: Respond to client inquiries and complaints
PRMPM27B: Manage pest management operations risk
PRMPM29B: Plan and schedule pest management operations
BSBSBM402A: Undertake financial planning
BSBSBM404A: Undertake business planning
